Privacy Policy

K-FanCamera

Last updated: September 15, 2026

K-FanCamera (the “App”) is developed and operated by Tanalat Boonfuang (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Summary

K-FanCamera is a personal library for saving and organizing YouTube video links. We do not operate user accounts, and we do not sell or rent personal information.

Most information created in the App is stored locally on your device. If you turn on iCloud Sync, your library is also stored in your private iCloud/CloudKit database so that it can sync across your Apple devices. The App also uses Google AdMob to display advertisements and contacts YouTube to retrieve video information when you add a YouTube link.

2. Information the App handles

Depending on the features you use, the App may handle the following information:

  • Library information: YouTube links, video titles, artist and group names, collections, tags, favorites, watch status, playback progress, dates added, durations, and thumbnail links.
  • Personal organization information: Names and group names for “Bias” entries, collection names, and images you voluntarily choose as cover images.
  • App preferences: Appearance, notification, and iCloud Sync preferences.
  • Backup files: If you use the export feature, the App creates a JSON backup containing your library information. The file is saved only to a location you choose. If you import a backup, the App reads the file you select.

The App does not ask you to create an account and does not directly collect your name, email address, phone number, payment information, precise location, contacts, or camera recordings.

Information you enter into your own library may still contain personal information—for example, a name used as a tag or a cover image. We do not use that information for advertising, analytics, or profiling.

3. How information is used

We use library information only to provide the App’s features, including saving, displaying, searching, organizing, syncing, importing, and exporting your library.

When you add a YouTube link, the App may send the link to YouTube to retrieve public metadata such as the video title, channel name, duration, and thumbnail. The App does not download or host the video. Videos remain on YouTube and open through YouTube.

If you enable daily reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. We do not receive the content or delivery status of these local notifications.

4. Local storage and iCloud Sync

The App stores your library and settings locally on your device. The App also uses Apple’s SwiftData and UserDefaults storage and a shared app container for the Share Sheet extension.

iCloud Sync is optional and disabled unless you enable it. When enabled, library information may be synchronized through Apple’s private CloudKit database associated with your iCloud account. This may include saved links, library organization data, bias and collection information, and cover images. We do not receive your Apple Account password and do not have access to your private iCloud account.

Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy and the applicable iCloud Terms and Conditions.

You can turn off iCloud Sync in the App’s settings. You can also manage your iCloud account and storage using Apple’s device and account settings.

5. Third-party services

Google AdMob

The App uses Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob) to display banner, interstitial, and app-open advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may automatically process information such as device and operating-system information, IP address, advertising identifiers or other identifiers, app and ad interaction information, and information used to provide, measure, and prevent fraud in advertising.

We do not access or control information collected directly by Google AdMob. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on Google’s configuration, your consent, applicable law, and your device settings. Where required, the App presents Google’s consent form, and you can revisit available ad privacy choices from the App’s settings.

For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy, Google’s advertising information, and Google AdMob’s publisher privacy guidance.

YouTube

The App contacts YouTube’s public services to retrieve metadata for links that you submit. When you open a video, YouTube may process information under its own policies and terms. See Google’s Privacy Policy and YouTube’s Terms of Service.

6. Data sharing and selling

We do not sell, rent, or trade your library information. We do not share library information with advertisers or analytics providers.

Information may be transmitted to the third-party services described above only when needed for the feature you use—for example, retrieving YouTube metadata, serving advertisements, or syncing through iCloud. Those services process information under their own privacy policies.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a valid request from a governmental authority, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of the App, our users, or others.

7. Retention and deletion

We do not maintain a separate server account containing your library. Local library information remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App’s data, or uninstall the App, subject to the behavior of your device and backups.

You can delete library items and cover images from within the App. Exported JSON backup files are controlled by you and must be deleted from the location where you saved them. If iCloud Sync is enabled, copies may remain in iCloud until they are removed through the App, Apple’s iCloud controls, or Apple’s applicable retention processes.

Because Google and YouTube operate their own services, requests concerning information they process should be directed to those providers.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of personal information. Since we do not operate an account system or maintain a server-side user profile, most library data can be reviewed, edited, exported, or deleted directly in the App.

For data processed by Apple, Google, or YouTube, please use the privacy controls and request procedures provided by those services. You may also contact us using the details below, and we will respond to requests relating to information that we control, subject to applicable law.

9. Children’s privacy

The App is rated 4+ and is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for our own purposes. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review the matter and take appropriate action.

Third-party services used by the App, including Google AdMob, may apply their own child-safety and consent requirements. Their handling of information is governed by their respective policies.

10. Security

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the App’s design to protect information within our control. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Information stored or processed by Apple, Google, or YouTube is also subject to each provider’s security practices.

11. International processing and legal basis

Third-party providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable, processing by those providers is governed by their own legal bases, safeguards, and privacy policies.

For information we control, we process it as needed to provide the App, support user-requested features, comply with legal obligations, and protect the App. Where consent is required—particularly for advertising choices—we rely on the consent choices presented to you.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after an update means that you acknowledge the updated policy.
